Biden-Harris 2020
As Director of Video, I oversaw digital video strategy and production for Joe Biden’s presidential campaign during the general election.
I joined the team in May 2020 and rapidly scaled the video operation, while also adapting to the challenges of working amid a pandemic. The campaign went from a team of five to a team of 50 video makers, all working remotely across the country, in a very short period of time. I’m proud of how we were able to establish a collaborative culture and build a close-knit team, even though most of us had never met in-person.
We were able to effectively program across social platforms and our video work surpassed 1 billion views.
We aimed to grow the social accounts of Biden and Harris by creating videos that enabled voters to express themselves and their support. In addition to programming the campaign accounts, we wanted to produce videos that would be ripped, remixed, and gif-ed so that people could promote the campaign on their own socials.
